JOE SCHROEDER

Age: 40

Family: Wife, Vincenza; Daughters, Grace (9) and Jessie (5).

Highest education: High School.

Year Started Business: 1979.

Type of Business: Old world products. Joe stood outside supermarkets and gave away free packets of laundry detergent in hopes of selling customers a bucketful later. Market: Networkers who have already been introduced to the concept of “distribution and duplication” that MLM promises.

Number of Employees: No regular employees, but works with eight sub-contractors.

Best month (gross revenues):
$400,000.

Hours worked per week during start-up:
Four to six.

Hours worked per week now: Four to six.

Favorite business magazines: Inc. Magazine, Business Week, E Company.

Favorite business books and authors: The Trick to Money is Having Some, by Stuart Wilde. Personal Power, by Tony Robbins. How to Make Millions with Ideas, by Dan Kennedy.

Relaxes by: Playing with his daughters and selling meat and seafood. He says this allows him to get back to his roots and to drive 100 miles a day and think. He loves to barbecue with his downline. “I also find great comfort in writing from 4 or 5 am to dawn.”

Favorite part of job: The influence. “Imagine the personal satisfaction of knowing that what you think and believe will be heard and recognized by over a million people. Imagine having the satisfaction of influencing 100,000 lives. Imagine having the power to be able to change 100 lives before you die. In our regular work-a-day lives, how many can we influence? 10? 30? In MLM, we have a platform to change the economy and to change entire populations and market shares. THAT is the power that I share with my fellow freedom fighters in network marketing and direct sales.”

Least favorite part of job: “Over 90 percent of people don’t get it. Most people never get past themselves, and they insist on thinking they are the issue. When someone hears, ‘I don’t know anybody to share my MLM with;’ or hears, ‘How do I get started?’ or, ‘Yeah, but I lost money last time;’ he is hearing people put themselves as the issue here. My success in MLM happened rapidly (only) after I ERASED Joe Schroeder (myself) from the equation. I let the power of the systems and the power of the products speak for me. The newbies in MLM need to learn that they are not the issue.”

Companies Admired:
Domino’s because teenagers can run it thus proving the power of their duplicatable system. Carson Services; What Six Figure Income has done to attract over one million affiliates is in the realm of the unknown. “Someday, before I die, I wish Gery could share with me the mechanics of how he has done this and how he has achieved such magnitude with SFI.” The Internet business located at: www.Magictricks.com, owned by Peter and Jackie Monticup. This couple is the living epitome of working for a loving and not a living. “They have taught me more than space would allow me to say.”

Favorite quotes: “What you give away you get to keep.” Veranicuz. “As you sow, so shall you reap.” Jesus Christ. “If hard work had any true relationship to money, all construction workers would drive $50,000 cars and live in a mansion.” Joe Schroeder

The person who most influenced your life: “My father, who taught me what unconditional love is. He also proved that working 14 hour days is meaningless if it’s not leveraged through others working with you in a unified goal.”

Heroes: Russell Kleinknecht: “Russ taught me about family loyalty, love, and the wisdom of true marketing. Russell is my hero of heroes.” Richard Dicks: “Richard earns over $50,000 per month in MLM and in his decade in mentoring me, not once did he ever prospect me or ask me to enroll with him. That taught me self-discipline through a value focus unto people.”

Special Accomplishments: Top one percent in earnings and Double Diamond in ForMor, International; Presidents Club in Melaleuca. On the cover of the following magazines: UPLINE, Small Business, Profit Now, and Cutting Edge. Voted #1 MLM course by Profit Now. First Place as a magician in America “Magic Symposium,” and fourth Place in the “World Cup of Magic.” Created a $5,000,000 annual business from home in the spare bedroom.
Created walk-away residual income in three businesses: Joe, The Meatman Foods; ForMor International; and MLMbigfish.com.

Months before Achieved a Profit: 60.

How Joe got into business for himself: “As an ex-fulltime magician, I didn’t have any history of employment. As such, I had no choice but to take a blue-collar job selling frozen food door-to-door.”

Best thing about being self-employed: “You own your own life. Plus, a person can create multiple million-dollar sources of revenue where a ‘job’ with a glass ceiling can’t. America is a capitalistic economy and country, and as such, private distribution is the core American challenge in everyone’s life. By being in business for yourself and controlling the distribution of whatever you are selling, you are exercising the American way to its ’nth degree. Those that work for others are naïve to the defining rights of true Americanism.”

He also has a site for magicians at: www.magictricks.com.
