Highest Education:
High school, plus some college
Year Started
Business: 1999
Type Of Business:
"First one was selling IT Certification Training
in audio format on CDs and cassettes online. I sold
that business for a nice price after three and a half
years of owning it. Second and current one is software/digital
products, teleconferencing, and audio services; plus
my Web show, Crazy Web Guy Show, doing success
and productivity how-to interviews and teleseminars."

products, services, and ways to improve their business
profits, as well as ways to make their own lives more
productive.

Favorite
Business Books or Authors: "I like Phil
Wiley's book on mini-sites and enjoy his newsletter.
Rosalind Gardner's e-book on affiliate programs is filled
with good tips, as is her newsletter. I like Bob Serling's
book on copywriting. It has some great examples and
steps to follow for doing your own copywriting."
Relaxes By:
Playing video games, enjoying his home theater
and audio recording stuff, and watching sports and NASCAR
racing
Keeps In Shape
Physically: Working his fingers on the keyboard
eight hours a day, taking walks with his wife, working
out on his Bowflex, and gardening
Favorite Part
Of The Job: "I like the freedom of my
job and being able to choose my hours and workdays for
the most part. Also, I love creating audio recordings
and new digital products, such as software and e-books.
For me, there's something special about starting with
absolutely nothing and creating a product from scratch
by using your creativity and brainpower."
Least Favorite
Part Of The Job: "I guess keeping organized.
I strive to be very organized, but somehow I'm still
going in 20 directions all the time and am just not
the most organized person there is. If it weren't for
my wife, my office would be a total wreck. She maintains
almost perfect organization of our accounting and other
aspects of the business. Good thing, too, otherwise,
it might be total chaos."
Companies Admired:
"Microsoft, however, it's a love/hate admiration.
I love the creativity and what the company has done
in being present on almost every computer, but I hate
that they sometimes throw out buggy products to their
customers to grab the almighty dollar. The fact that
Bill Gates started as small as he did and became the
giant he is now is hard to deny and not admire."
The Person Who
Most Influenced His Life: "Both of my
parents. They taught me right from wrong. I'll never
forget as a child of seven years old, I once put a comic
book under my shirt and stole it from a pharmacy. My
parents found out and made me take it back and tell
the owner of the store what I had done and pay for the
comic book. It was a lesson that served me well all
of these years. The other person is my wife. She is
an inspiration with her love and zest for life...not
to mention her continued support of me and my endeavors."
Heroes:
"Our service men and women serving in the military.
They put their lives on the line for us so we can have
the freedom we enjoy. Also, I admire the many policemen,
firemen, and others in public servants who put their
lives on the line for us each day."
Special Business
Achievements/Honors: "I don't know if
it's an honor, but one achievement was generating $1
million plus of revenue in three years time with my
first online business. I also developed 25+ audio CDs
and tape products for computer and information technology
training during that time while building the business.
I did all of that with an initial starting investment
of $500."
Months Before
Achieving A Profit: "My first month
in business saw a profit."
