MARTY CHALLENGER GAINS
INDEPENDENCE THROUGH
SELF-EMPLOYMENT
BY JAN WALLEN
Marty Challenger lives up to his
name. He is a self-described rebel, who wants independence
and no boss hanging over him telling him what to do.
He had his first job at age 19 where someone told him
what to do, when to do it, how to do it, and then watched
over him all day while he did it. That was a valuable
learning experience as he made the decision that no
matter what he did for a living, he would be independent.
Today he has achieved that goal several
times over. He began with a carpet and upholstery cleaning
service, then had a rain gutter repair and installation
service, a full scale building contractor business and
a guard and patrol service. Presently he is involved
in network marketing and is teaching others how to do
what he has done.
Marty says the person who most influenced
his life was Anthony Robbins; he also considers Brian
Tracy, Zig Ziglar and Les Brown to be valuable mentors.
When Marty began his network marketing
business, he was profitable within the first month.
Today he speaks on radio and TV talk shows, telling
others how to achieve the same success, by using his
"fast-start, smart-start" home-based program.
The network marketing industry allows anyone to profit
substantially.
Marty enjoys all the benefits of being
his own boss. He says, "The best thing about being
self-employed is definitely the freedom of choice and
the freedom of movement. I wouldn't trade it for anything!"
We live in a country where the American
dream can still come true for people like Marty Challenger.
