What’s the most underrated activity in business?

CB: The most underrated activity in business is prayer.

RB: Personal growth and development. As I reflect back on how I've accomplished what I've accomplished, it's because of the person I've become, and I attribute this to the books and tapes I listen to.

DC: Retailing products. A recent Direct Sales Association survey stated that more than 70 percent of the people who join an MLM program do so because they love the products. Question: if you aren’t selling products, how can those people find you?

DN: Traditional business analysis; determine if you can create a positive cash flow before you begin and don’t wait six to nine months until you discover the startling fact that you can’t do what it takes in a specific program to make money on your part-time or full-time basis.

JS: Commitment! Dedication! Perseverance!

WHAT’S The most overrated activity in business?

CB: The most overrated activity in business is talking.

RB: Retailing products; 95 percent of our population wants nothing to do with selling. If you lead with a product, many people are not going to get the big picture of what this is about.

DC: Recruiting. Recruiting someone means nothing. It is activating them after you recruit them that matters.

DN: Sharing the product with people and expecting the product to sell itself. I’ve never seen anything that sells itself. There’s another one: the hype of a company doing all the work for you and you getting all the money. It’s overrated because it just doesn’t happen.

JS: Overemphasizing the income potential! Show REAL income projections that can be attained by the average person.
If you had to start your business all over again, what would you do differently?

CB: If I had to start my business all over again, I’d watch less TV and read fewer novels. I would also talk to more people and listen better.

RB: I would devote more time up front to getting to know the people running the network marketing companies. I'd find out what their vision is, where they are going, and what they plan to accomplish and how. I'd make sure I understood their values.

DN: I would have invested more time and energy in researching the real workings of the industry and business of network marketing. It would have made some difference, but perhaps not a great deal. There have been major evolutionary changes in the industry in the last 11 years and particularly the last four or five. Some things take time.

JS: I would have started network marketing right out of college. I would also be more organized as far as keeping tax records, etc.

What do you consider to be the main keys of your success?

CB: The main keys of my success are: Being led by God Almighty to do the things that have worked for me and unconditional love for people.

RB: Understanding the people I'm working with and figuring out a way to bring value to them. I always try to figure out how I can be of service to the people I may work with. When you focus on what you can bring them and their success, things seem to fall into place for you.

DC: First, determination to persist and not be denied; second, my sincere love for people and belief in their untapped potential; third, systematic, step by step, unified training systems for ALL aspects of this business, which can be duplicated throughout the organization. I am not just talking about retailing and recruiting; I am talking about each and every aspect of this business!

DN: My commitment to excellence backed by enthusiasm, hard work, and dogged persistence. As I have grown more experienced, I place a higher and higher value on character and integrity. I want to be fair with people and help others.

JS: I have G.U.T.S. That’s what I call a Great Urge To Succeed! I never give up! I have a burning desire to go for it!

What about you has changed the most since finding success in business?

CB: What has changed the most since finding success in business is the personal growth that enables me to help many people in various important ways including financially and spiritually.

RB: I am having more fun in my life. It's easier to appreciate life with money than without. And now I am able to make a difference with other people. I'm able to help them reach the lifestyle goals they have for themselves, and I couldn't do this when I was chasing a paycheck myself.

Being able to help others live their dreams has been satisfying in ways I could not have imagined.

DC: Not a lot has changed, just no more financial stress. As I stated earlier, money just makes you more of what you already are.

DN: I experience less stress, and I enjoy each day more completely.

JS: I used to have my goals set on money. Now, I am focused on helping people live longer and healthier lives! After all, your health is your greatest wealth!
